It looks like it just might happen this year. We thought the last storm was bad, but last night it dumped another 6" of snow on us here. I know my readers in snow states are laughing but for a state that barely owns any snow plows (let alone uses them), 6" is A LOT of snow - especially when it is sitting on top of the previous 4" that never got cleared off.

Last night we got a phone call letting us know that church was canceled today. That is a new one for me. We've had it canceled in the middle of the meeting block for weather, but never the night before. There were concerns about everyone making it safely I guess - probably a smart call. So we are spending an unusually quiet Sunday at home. We are going to the neighbors later for dinner, and mostly just enjoying the snow, and the fact that we don't have to be anywhere.

We all went out and played a little bit in it this morning - they boys once again had a really good time, and my husband was able to clear a small path down our porch and driveway and in front of the house, so that we don't kill ourselves trying to leave until this all melts.

"We're Helping Daddy."
Yummy Snow.

**An Update - It has started to snow again, since we came in. It's been dumping for at least an hour, and doesn't look to be letting up anytime soon. It's going to be an interesting week I think.
**Second Update - 7 hours after my original post, it is still dumping. It hasn't stopped. I have never seen this much snow here, I'm sure we are setting records.
