Pre-Halloween Fun

I think my kids had more fun in all of the things we did leading up to Halloween than on the actual day. Well, not really, but they did have a lot of fun. Most of these pictures are from other sources, which is why it has taken me so long to post them. Here are some of the things we've been doing the last few weekends.

October 18th: 1st Pumpkin Patch trip. We went with "AM" & "GM".

The Boys, showing off their "loot".

Farmer Beefy

Farmer Buggy

Riding in the wagon.

October 24th: Church Halloween Party and "Trunk or Treat". The boy's buddy "S" and his mom and dad came with us to this one.

Buggy enjoying a cupcake.

Turtle Beefy

"S" and Buggy enjoying their spoils after the cupcake walk.

October 25th: 2nd Pumpkin Patch trip. My husband had to work that day, so the boys and I tagged along with "S" and his mom and dad, so we didn't have to spend a boring Saturday home alone.
For some reason my kids really like sticking their faces in these things.

Boo!

Picking out (another) pumpkin.

Train Ride
All in a days work.

There was also a Halloween carnival at the local high school, pumpkin carving, and a pre-school Halloween party in there too. Not to mention the main event (trick-or-treating) itself. Unfortunately, no pics of the carnival or the pre-school party. I do have some of the finished product Jack O'Lanterns, and of the boys and Daddy going trick-or-treating, I'll post them as soon as I can get them loaded on the computer.

Happy Halloween!

Since I can't hand out candy on my blog, I thought I'd hand out a link to a fantastic new funny website I found. It's called Cake Wrecks, and you can find it here. I've linked it below on my favorite websites as well. Happy Halloween!

What's New in Our Lives?

Just a few items, that didn't quite warrant their own post, but that I wanted to get out there anyway.

1. Today was Beefy's last day of therapy (hooray!). All of his testing came back right at the 50th percentile. It was good enough for his therapists, and definitely good enough for me. Plus it means I don't have to get up early on Tuesday mornings, which I am very grateful for.

2. I have an ultrasound next week. I am excited, but a huge part of me is really scared too. Is that crazy? But, we should be able to find a gender which would be great and a definite perk.

3. The boys are very excited about Halloween. Buggy asks me every night if it is Halloween yet. I think that the thought of another week and a half just might kill him.

4. I am tossing around the idea of using cloth diapers with this next baby. Maybe I really am crazy, but I've gotten really good feedback from people who have done it, and found only raving reviews online. I am looking at using this particular version. Kind of cool, no? I would love opinions, on this subject especially.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Halloween Costumes

It is a well known fact that I am always willing to flaunt cute pictures of my kids. I will freely admit that I am biased; then again I have the right to be, I gave birth to them. Anyway, "AM" had the boys come into the studio today to practice some Halloween pictures. I think we got tons of cute ones. As per the norm, I will only post a few so as not to seem too overbearing, but I really had a hard time picking out just a few with this session. Considering that on a whiny scale of 1-10, they were both an 11.5 today, I am amazed that we had as many good ones as we did. Enjoy!
